Ama Dablam is not a training peak — it is a serious technical climb that happens to be under 7,000 m. The South-West Ridge gives sustained rock climbing on excellent granite, the Yellow Tower above Camp 1, exposed ridge traverses, and a final snow field beneath the hanging glacier that gives the mountain its name. Climbers need to be comfortable on rock up to about UK Severe with a pack, and confident on fixed lines. In exchange, it is arguably the most photogenic summit in Nepal.
TerraBlaze runs this expedition end to end: permits and royalties, the approach, a fully staffed base camp, the high-altitude team fixing and stocking the route, daily forecasting and an evacuation plan filed before you land. You bring the fitness and the experience — we handle everything else.
