Pisang Peak rises straight out of the Manang valley as a neat snow pyramid above the village of the same name, which makes it the easiest Himalayan summit to bolt onto a trek you were already doing. The South-West Ridge is a snow and ice route with one steeper section on the final slope; a single high camp above base camp is all that is needed. It is a genuine 6000m summit with real crampon work, reachable inside a standard Annapurna Circuit holiday.

You are met on landing and taken to your hotel in Kathmandu.
Over the next days we complete the government briefing, finalise permits, and go through your personal equipment item by item with your expedition leader. Anything missing can still be bought or hired at this point.
The team travels to the mountain by a drive to Besisahar and a five-day Annapurna Circuit trek through Chame to Pisang village.
The approach is paced for acclimatization rather than speed — the days are deliberately short, and the altitude gain is controlled.
We establish Pisang Base Camp (4,380 m) with dining, kitchen, communication and medical tents.
The Sherpa team holds the traditional puja ceremony before anyone steps onto the mountain, and we run refresher sessions on fixed-line technique, crevasse rescue and oxygen systems.
The heart of the expedition. The team makes progressive rotations up to the higher camps — 1 camps are established on this route — sleeping high and returning to base camp to recover between each cycle.
Meanwhile the high-altitude team fixes rope and stocks the upper mountain.
When the forecast gives a usable window, the team moves back up the mountain camp by camp for the summit bid on Pisang Peak (6,091 m) via the South-West Ridge.
No supplementary oxygen required; emergency oxygen carried by the team.
After the summit the team descends to base camp, strips the high camps and carries everything off the mountain — we leave nothing behind.
The return journey retraces the approach, ending with a celebration dinner and your summit certificate.
