At 6,584 m Chulu East is higher than several mountains sold as full expeditions, and it climbs like one: two camps above base, a genuine altitude profile and a summit day long enough that teams routinely leave camp before two in the morning. The north-east ridge is snow and ice with fixed line on the steeper bands, and the crux is not the climbing but the height — this is a mountain where acclimatization decides everything. The saving grace is the approach, because a week on the Annapurna Circuit is the best possible preparation. Climbers who want a serious summit without stepping up to a 7,000 m permit come here.
TerraBlaze runs this climb end to end: the NMA permit and park fees, the trek in, a fully staffed base camp, a licensed climbing guide and a climbing Sherpa on summit day, fixed rope on the steep ground and an evacuation plan filed before you land. You bring the fitness — we handle everything else.
